Who We Are
Aaron Schmidt, President, has built custom homes and roofs in the Southeast for over 20 years. He is a married father of three teenage sons. After graduating from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Aaron earned his BBA in Business and his Realtor’s license. He then earned his Certified Residential Contractor’s license in 2003, and by 2004 he had also acquired his Real Estate Broker’s license and founded Schmidt Real Estate, LLC.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
A lifelong Tampa Bay resident, Aaron grew up in the building industry. From summer jobs as a block mason to weekends as a sales agent, Aaron saw firsthand what it takes to design and construct high-quality homes.
In 2003, Aaron joined the Schmidt family building company and was soon managing The Vineyard, their booming Brandon subdivision. After several years of success, Aaron was privileged to join the Apollo Beach team in their Bimini Bay community.
Today Aaron feels honored to continue building custom homes in Tampa Bay and carry on the Schmidt family legacy of making other families’ dream homes come to life.

Bill Van Deman
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As a former loan originator and mortgage broker, Bill helps clients navigate the finance process from lot purchase to construction finance. With almost twenty years of residential real estate and mortgage experience in Florida new construction, Bill has overseen every stage of finance from acquisition and development financing to construction loan origination, processing, funding and closing.
FINANCE AND CONSTRUCTION
On the construction side, Bill is responsible for new home sales, purchasing, design, preconstruction, permitting and contract administration. Bill has also overseen project management, scheduling, site supervision and move-in on multiple stand-alone projects.
Bill graduated from Purdue University in 1997 with a degree in organizational communications. He's lived in the Apollo Beach area since 2006 with his wife Molly and son Drew. As a former professional freediver instructor and brand ambassador, Bill is still an active member of the local dive community.

Andrew has built custom homes in Tampa Bay for over 40 years. His work has received many Tampa Bay Parade of Homes awards for building quality and craftsmanship. He is a married father to 4 adult children and proud Papa to 17 grandchildren. He is proud to be part of a team based on family, shared faith, and a commitment to excellence.
BUILDING A LEGACY
A custom home builder since 1982, Andrew and his team have built over 1,000 custom homes throughout Tampa Bay and Miami. His work has received over 10 Grand Awards and numerous others in the annual TBBA Parade of Homes. He also designed and built two residential communities in Tampa Bay: The Vineyard in Brandon and Bimini Bay in Apollo Beach.

Alongside his family, they have built beautiful custom residences that have earned them a reputation for stunning design and quality construction.
